Admissions

Nursery Admissions in Sharjah

We welcome children from 1.5 to 4 years old. Admissions are open through the year rather than only at the start of a term, so if you are looking for a place mid-year it is worth asking — we often have one.

Here is everything you need: the class groups, the timings, the documents, and what actually happens after you get in touch.

Our class groups

Three age bands, each with its own room, routine and pace.

  • Toddlers — 1.5 to 2.5 years. Settling in, sensory play, early language, and learning that this place is safe.
  • Pre-Nursery — 2 to 3 years. Independence, sharing, first friendships, and the beginnings of structured play.
  • Preschool — 3 to 4 years. School readiness in earnest: early literacy and numeracy, sitting for a story, following instructions.

The bands overlap around two years, deliberately. Where a child is placed depends on the child rather than the birthday — some are ready to move up early, some benefit from another term where they are. We will talk it through with you.

All three groups follow the British EYFS curriculum.

Timings

Classes

  • Monday to Thursday — from 7:00 AM
  • Friday — 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM

Full-day daycare

  • Monday to Thursday, until 5:30 PM

Friday is a short day for every child. Worth knowing before you plan around it. There is more detail on how the long day works on our daycare page.

Office hours — for visits, paperwork and questions

  • Monday to Thursday — 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Friday — 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
  • Saturday — 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Saturday mornings are usually the quietest time to visit if you are working during the week.

Transport

We run bus transport for children across Sharjah. Rather than publish a route list that may not match your street, tell us where you live and we will confirm whether our bus reaches you and what it costs — before you commit to anything.

How to apply

Five steps, and the first one is a conversation rather than a form.

  1. Get in touch. Call or WhatsApp us with your child’s age and the hours you are looking for. We will tell you straight away whether we have a place in that group.
  2. Come and visit. Mid-morning when the rooms are busy, or at pickup to see how the day ends. Bring your child if you can — watching how the teachers respond to them tells you more than anything we can say.
  3. We will send the fee schedule. For your child’s age group and hours, including what is charged separately — registration, uniform and transport. There is more on what our nursery fees cover.
  4. Complete the admission form set. Our office provides it, along with the documents listed below.
  5. Settling-in visits, then the first day. We start with shorter sessions and lengthen them when your child is ready, not when the calendar says so. Your child is assigned a key person before the first day — one teacher who learns their name, their routines and how they like to be comforted.

Documents required

Have these ready and the paperwork takes one visit rather than three.

  1. Passport copies — father, mother and child
  2. Emirates ID copies — father, mother and child
  3. UAE residence visa copies — father, mother and child
  4. Six passport-sized photographs of the child
  5. Child’s vaccination record
  6. Child’s birth certificate
  7. The completed admission form set, provided by our office

If any document is still being processed — a visa in progress, an Emirates ID not yet issued — tell us. It is common and it does not have to hold up the rest.

Before you decide

Whichever nursery you choose, a few things are worth asking on a visit: how long the staff in that particular room have been there, who is with the children after lunch, and what is charged on top of the tuition fee. We have written the full list in twelve questions to ask on a nursery tour — bring it and use it on us.

We have been in the same building on Burj Khuzam Street since April 2008, licensed by the Sharjah Private Education Authority. You can also read our policies for parents before you enrol, and meet the team who would be caring for your child.

Admissions questions

What ages do you accept?

Children from 1.5 to 4 years, across three age groups: 1.5 to 2.5, 2 to 3, and 3 to 4 years.

Are admissions only at the start of the year?

No. We accept children through the year when we have a place in the right age group. Call and ask — mid-year starts are more common than parents expect.

What documents do I need?

Passport, Emirates ID and UAE residence visa copies for both parents and the child, six passport photographs of the child, the vaccination record, the birth certificate, and the completed admission form set from our office.

Does my child need to be toilet trained before starting?

No. It is one of the questions we are asked most, and nursery often helps rather than hinders — routine, peers, and adults who are not tired of it yet.

How much are the fees?

Fees depend on the age group, the hours you need and whether you require transport. Call 06 522 8461 or WhatsApp 050 929 0452 and we will send the current schedule, including what is charged separately.

Do you provide transport?

Yes. Tell us your area and we will confirm whether our route covers it and what it costs.

Can I visit before enrolling?

Please do. Come mid-morning when the rooms are busy, or at pickup. Saturday mornings are the quietest option if you work during the week.

How long does settling in take?

Most children are settled within two to three weeks. Some take longer, and that is not a verdict on the child or on you. We lengthen sessions by watching the child, not the calendar.

Start the conversation

Tell us your child’s age and the hours you need, and we will tell you whether we have a place — usually in the same conversation.
