If you are looking for a nursery in Al Qasimia Sharjah, the search usually starts with your own neighbourhood. It makes sense — the morning drop-off is the part you will do five days a week for two years, and distance decides whether that is manageable or miserable.

Where we are
Bumble Bee Nursery is in the Al Ramla area of Sharjah, on Burj Khuzam Street, behind the Sharjah Red Crescent Society. We have been in the same building since April 2008, licensed by the Sharjah Private Education Authority.
Al Ramla sits close enough to central Sharjah that most of the city is a reasonable drive, but far enough off the main arteries that the morning run is not a battle. If you have been looking at nurseries inside Rolla or Al Qasimia and finding the traffic difficult, that is worth knowing.
Nursery in Al Qasimia Sharjah: are we close enough?
We are not in Al Qasimia — we are in Al Ramla, a short drive away. Whether that works for you depends on your route and the time you leave, which is genuinely different for every family.
The most useful thing you can do is drive it once, at the time you would actually be doing it. A journey that looks fine on a map at 11am can look very different at 7:15am. If you are weighing a nursery in Al Qasimia Sharjah against somewhere slightly further out, that one test drive tells you more than any comparison page.

What to check besides the distance

Does the curriculum go deep or wide?
Plenty of nurseries in Sharjah advertise two or three frameworks at once — EYFS plus Montessori plus a STEM programme. We follow the British Early Years Foundation Stage and only that, with staff trained in it and assessment that genuinely follows it. One framework, properly, is a different proposition from three at the surface.
Do the hours match your actual day?
Classes run Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and Friday 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Full-day daycare in Sharjah runs to 5:30 PM Monday to Thursday. Friday is a short day for every child — worth knowing before you plan around it.
How old are the children in each room?
We take children from 1.5 to 4 years, in three age groups: roughly 1.5–2.5, 2–3, and 3–4. Ask any nursery how narrow their age bands are. A single room spanning eighteen months to four years cannot pitch a session at all of them.
Who is with your child in the afternoon?
In many settings the morning teachers leave at lunchtime and a separate team covers the afternoon. Ours stay. For a child in full-day care, that continuity matters more than the closing time.
What does the fee actually include?

What happens on a hard morning?
Ask how a nursery settles a child who is finding it difficult. If the answer is a fixed number of days rather than a description of how they watch the child, that tells you something.
How our day works
Children arrive from 7:00 AM. The morning holds a focused EYFS session — early language, numbers, motor skills — alongside a good deal of child-led play, because at this age most of the real learning happens in between the planned activities. There is outdoor play, snack, story and music, and a written note at pickup telling you how the day actually went.
The EYFS covers seven areas of learning: communication and language, physical development, personal and social development, literacy, mathematics, understanding the world, and expressive arts and design. Your child will not experience them as separate subjects. A single morning of play can touch all seven.
Safety and settling in
Secure entry, an authorised collection list, childproofed rooms, food safety procedures, CCTV monitoring throughout the classrooms and common areas, and ongoing staff training in health and safety.
Emotional security matters as much as the physical kind. Every child has a key person from the first visit — one teacher who learns their name, their routines and how they like to be comforted. Settling starts with shorter sessions and lengthens when the child is ready, not when the calendar says so.
