Arrival & Departure Policy

Our daily routines are designed to ensure safety and smooth transitions.

  • Upon arrival, we conduct a brief health check for each child.
  • Accurate records of children’s arrival and departure times are maintained.
  • Late arrivals disrupt learning, so we request timely drop-offs by 8:30 AM.

Settling-In Policy

We understand that adjusting to a new environment can take time. During the first few days, we recommend shorter sessions to help your child ease into the routine. Most children settle within two weeks, but every child is unique, and we work closely with parents to ensure a smooth transition.

Health & Safety

Your child’s safety is our utmost priority.

  • Daily temperature checks are conducted.
  • Strict protocols are in place for communicable diseases.
  • Fire drills are conducted regularly, and all staff are trained in first aid.
  • Our premises are always supervised to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Routine safety checks and regular risk assessments are conducted
  • First-aid boxes are always available, with staff receiving ongoing training.
  • All visitors are logged, and parental consent is obtained for outings.

Safeguarding

  • We uphold strict standards to protect children under our care, collaborating with parents to create a safe environment both at nursery and at home. Security measures are in place to control access to the premises, ensuring children’s safety.
  • We follow all local and national child protection laws and provide ongoing staff training to ensure all members are equipped to handle the vulnerabilities of children, including those with special needs.
  • Any concerns regarding child abuse are taken seriously, thoroughly investigated, and documented.
  • Staff regularly receive child safety training, and we involve parents in all concerns about their child’s wellbeing.

Fee Policy

  • Our nursery requires fees to be paid by the 7th of each month.
  • Discounts are offered on sibling enrolment and on annual fee payments
  • We maintain a well-defined policy that outlines the terms regarding fees and refunds. Any fees once paid are considered final and non-refundable.
  • It’s essential for parents to review our nursery’s withdrawal and cancellation policy before enrolling their child. The policy ensures that parents understand the procedures and requirements for withdrawing a child.

Food Policy

  • Healthy eating habits start early! Please pack simple, easy-to-handle snacks for your child.
  • Avoid sending boiled eggs, sweets, or choking hazards like small grapes and nuts.
